The Stankiewicz branch of my ancestry begins with Adamina Stankiewicz, a daughter of Michal Stankiewicz of Golina (Konin), Poznan, Poland. Adamina married Stanislaw Fabiszak of Weglew (Wenglewo), a village which is between Golina and Konin and about one hundred and twenty miles west of Warsaw. Please note that there are two Polish locations named Golina. Therefore, I refer to Adamina's Golina as Golina (Konin).
